Helmets at the Course

The helmets we use at the Pedal Project course are made by TSG, a Swiss company that specialise in cycling safety gear.

After a lot of research, we have found them to be the safest helmets around, chiefly because they stay where they are put. User interaction permitting!

Many children's helmets – one scooter manufacturer’s in particular – are much more bulky and heavy and fall back on the child’s head, not protecting it.

We provide the helmets at the course. Also the TSG helmets will be available to buy new after the second session of the course, in the different sizes and a selection of colours.

Having said all that, if you would prefer your child to wear their own helmet at the course, that is totally fine, as long as it fits them well.
